O Ministério Público do Acre (MPAC) lançou o Feminicidômetro, ferramenta que monitora crimes de feminicídio no estado. Desenvolvido em 2020 durante a pandemia de Covid-19, o sistema foi criado para facilitar o acesso de familiares das vítimas às informações sobre os processos judiciais relacionados a esses crimes.
Desde 2018, o Feminicidômetro registra os casos de feminicídio consumados e tentados no Acre. O sistema organiza uma linha do tempo para cada caso, detalhando a instauração e conclusão de inquéritos, denúncias apresentadas e julgamentos, além das respectivas penas. Dados pessoais são protegidos, e as informações são atualizadas mensalmente pelo Observatório de Violência de Gênero (OBSGênero), também vinculado ao MPAC.
Nos últimos seis anos, o MPAC contabilizou 77 casos de feminicídio no estado. A plataforma, que recebeu 6.452 acessos gerais desde seu lançamento, tem um papel estratégico no monitoramento e transparência de dados sobre violência contra mulheres.
O Feminicidômetro foi reconhecido com o Prêmio CNJ Juíza Viviane Vieira do Amaral na categoria Atores e Atrizes do Sistema de Justiça, destacando sua contribuição para o enfrentamento da violência de gênero. A premiação homenageia a memória da juíza Viviane Vieira do Amaral, vítima de feminicídio em 2020.
Além de monitorar os casos, o projeto visa aumentar a conscientização sobre a violência doméstica e familiar no Brasil, reforçando a importância de ações preventivas e de apoio às vítimas. O reconhecimento reflete o esforço do MPAC em aprimorar políticas públicas e o sistema de justiça na proteção das mulheres.
